Hello, my name is Katie and as a Pluralistic therapist, I have been trained in a range of therapeutic methods and psychological theories. I work with children, young people and adults, both face-to-face in our Cardiff office and online. I have a parallel career as an artist and can also use creative approaches in the therapy room if it’s helpful.

I will work with you in a way that is collaborative and flexible. Respecting that you are the expert on your life, we will explore what you want from therapy and how you might get it. I will try to put myself in your shoes to get a sense of how you are experiencing the world and together we will make sense of whatever it is that’s causing you distress. It’s my aim to create a supportive space so that you will feel safe to talk, understood and validated throughout your time in therapy.

I often work with people having difficulties with relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, low mood, self-criticism, grief and loss. As a trauma-informed practitioner, I also have experience of working with childhood abuse, domestic abuse, sexual violence and sexual exploitation.
