A connection drop-in over Christmas (27th December)
For many reasons, the festive season can be difficult for a lot of people. If you’re struggling for any reason, or feel lonely or isolated, the societal message that this is supposed to be a joyful and connected time can throw difficult things into a very sharp focus.
Even for people who aren’t struggling with isolation, other pressures can feel stronger this time of year, like financial difficulties, strained relationships, or just an overall sense that things aren’t how we’re told they’re meant to be.
This is part of why we’ve decided to hold a connection drop-in on the 27th December, at our Platfform Wellbeing office on Pen-Y-Lan road, 1-3pm. It’s just a chance to talk to other people and have a coffee in a warm space; some time to connect with people.
Please feel free to come along, and please also share with the people you support.
Friday 27th December,
1 Pen-Y-Lan Road, Cardiff,
1-3pm
Remember that if you’re facing a tough time over Christmas, you can also call the National Mental Health support line on 111-press 2, or the Samaritans on 116 123.
